What's new
Tempo’s MCP integration can now work with more of your calendar. In addition to planned training workouts, connected assistants can create, update, and delete calendar events, plus read, create, update, and delete notes.
That means you can ask Claude to add a race, adjust an event, create a multi-day note, move a note to another day, or clear a note’s end date. Tempo also validates event and note types before sending changes, and write actions are designed to confirm with you first.
Why it helps
Your assistant can now help maintain your training calendar, not just answer questions about it. This cuts down on manual calendar edits and makes planning conversations more useful, while keeping changes explicit and grounded in Tempo’s calendar rules.
How to try it
In Tempo on the web, go to Settings → AI Assistants and connect Claude using the Tempo MCP setup instructions.
Once connected, try asking Claude something like: “Add a race event for Sunday called Mountain Gran Fondo, then add a note for Friday reminding me to check the bike and pack nutrition.”
Note: MCP access requires a Premium subscription.
