Updates for Web, Mobile and AI assistants: what shipped, why it helps, and how to try it.
CORE sensor rides now get a Heat Load score beside Load, with a Minimal to Extreme badge and ride-specific rehydration, cooling and next-day recovery steps.
Workout details now have an Analyze with AI action that opens Claude or ChatGPT with a ready-made prompt, so your connected assistant fetches the ride itself.
Home on the web gets a chronological What's next agenda, a Today's workouts list and an Energy row with calories burned, consumed, balance and availability.
FIT-file laps are now returned by the MCP workout detail tool, and the web lap table adds VAM, average temperature, minimum HR and maximum cadence columns.
A new MCP protocol lets Claude or ChatGPT build periodized strength blocks around your rides, with equipment, injuries, race timing and interference rules.
Connected assistants can now add, edit and delete calendar events and notes through Tempo MCP, confirming each change before it lands on your calendar.
Claude and ChatGPT can now create, update and delete planned workouts and list your templates over Tempo MCP, so you can build a training week by chatting.
The Training page has a Library tab to browse starter and personal interval templates, filter by intensity, duration and load, and schedule one onto your plan.
Premium beta riders get threshold heart rate suggestions for cycling and running from their strongest efforts in the last 42 days, one sport at a time.
Premium riders get a second Estimated FTP reading extrapolated from heart rate toward threshold HR, shown beside the power-curve estimate in one modal.
The get_performance_metrics MCP tool returns Critical Power, W′, six power bests, cardiovascular bests and estimated FTP for any date range you choose.
Critical Power and W′ tiles on the Performance page, fitted to your power-duration curve for the selected dates, with tier badges next to FTP and power bests.
Tempo reads CORE sensor data from FIT files and shows core temperature, skin temperature and Heat Strain Index with zones, stats and timeline traces per ride.
The new Energy page shows daily energy balance, before/during/after fueling targets for your next workout and event, and an Energy Availability trend chart.
Today's Metrics now shows your Rider Profile, the cycling archetype your power curve matches, with 5s, 1min, 5min and 20min bests against the reference.
Monotony, a 7-day training variety metric, is now in Today's Metrics, on the Fitness page chart and in the iOS Fitness tab, with Low to Very High status bands.
Running, walking and hiking workouts now show a Pacing Metrics section: average pace, elapsed pace, fastest split and cadence, in min/km or min/mi.
Connect Claude to your Tempo account over the MCP server and ask about workouts, planned training, events, fitness, wellness and nutrition in plain language.
